As one of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas, AISD serves over 26,000 students across 23 campuses, including three high schools, five junior high schools, and 17 elementary schools. AISD is the second-largest school district in Brazoria County, serving students who live in Alvin, Manvel, Iowa Colony, Liverpool, Pearland, Santa Fe, and Rosharon.

At Valencia, students will attend E.C. Mason Elementary School, Manvel Junior High School, and Manvel High School, all of which offer a wide range of educational opportunities for students of all ages and interests. Overall Academic Performance

Compared to statewide numbers, Alvin ISD consistently achieves above-average academic performance, scoring an 88 overall on the 2021-2022 Texas Education Agency’s accountability report. The district scored particularly high in student achievement, academic growth, and overall school progress rating, and improved its component scores in every category compared to its 2020-2021 ratings.

As well, Alvin ISD boasts a four-year graduation rate of 98.8%, compared to the statewide average of 90.3%.

E.C. Mason Elementary School

E.C. Mason Elementary School is one of the 17 elementary schools in the Alvin Independent School District. Established in 2008, the school serves approximately 800 students ranging from pre-kindergarten to fifth grade, with a dedicated faculty and staff who work collaboratively with families to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

This school offers a comprehensive academic curriculum that includes English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, and also offers specialized programs, such as a Gifted and Talented program and special education services for those who need additional support.  

Manvel Junior High School

Established in 2011 and serving approximately 1,200 students in grades 6-8, Manvel Jr. High is one of the five junior high schools in Alvin ISD. The school offers a well-rounded curriculum, with an instructional approach that focuses on collaborative learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Manvel Jr. High also operates the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, a college readiness program that seeks to prepare hard-working students for long-term success.

In addition to academics, Manvel Junior High School provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, including tennis, track and field, soccer, basketball, and swimming. The fine arts program features band, art, choir, theater, and dance, and there is also a dedicated chess club and yearbook club!

Manvel High School first opened its doors in 2006, and now serves over 2,500 students from the Alvin, Manvel, Rosharon, Iowa Colony, & Pearland communities. The school offers a rigorous academic curriculum that includes Advanced Placement courses, dual credit courses, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, which offer students the opportunity to graduate with certifications, college prerequisites and dual credits, and professional connections in career clusters ranging from engineering, business, and health science to agriculture and technology.

Extracurricular activities at Manvel High School include athletics, fine arts, and a range of student-led clubs. The school's athletic programs have been quite successful, with several state championship titles in football, basketball, and track and field – in fact, the Manvel High School football program holds the title for most recruitments in the past decade, securing over 150 college football scholarships.

The fine arts program includes choir, band, theater, and visual arts, and there are are over two dozen clubs and organizations available for students to join, such as National Honor Society, Student Council, and the Robotics Club.
